How to Give Help
There are several ways to assist the Perinton Food Shelf in its mission to serve those in need in our community:
- Food donations are always welcome. Please check our Most Needed Items List.
(Needed Items)There is a convenient drop off for donated items at the Perinton Town Hall, 1350 Turk Hill Road, Fairport, New York. Many local churches also accept donations for the Food Shelf.
- Organizations may want to host a food drive. Please check the Most Needed Items List before holding your drive. Notify the Food Shelf on the dates of your drive by calling 585-425-7410. We would like to know of your plans in order to have volunteers available to sort the food and stock the shelves.
- Consider some of the tips for conducting food drives from our Food Drive Guide
- Monetary donations are needed all year round to purchase fresh meat,
eggs, milk and
margarine for the families we serve. Consider a monetary donation to help purchase these items. Donations to the Perinton Food Shelf are fully tax deductible. Send checks to:

- Volunteer
Consider volunteering at the Perinton Food Shelf. We currently have more than 100 volunteers performing a variety of jobs. We have volunteers who screen clients, sorters, packers and deliverers.
